2008-06-28 - BBQ AND HORSE BACK RIDING JULY 19-2008
Come out and join us out in FT. Langley at a Horse Ranch for a BBQ and Horse Back Riding. There are 75 acres to ride or walk on trails through the trees. There is a swimming pool and hot tub for those that don't want to ride horses. Lots of room for out door games as well. This will be a pot luck event, so bring a dish for everyone to share and bring your BBQ item. The cost for this event will be $5.00 for the drinks, plates, napkins, cutlery and condiments. We would like to know how many people will be coming, so we ask that you register on the web site and bring your $5.00 with you. So keep this date open to join in on the fun. 2008-05-08 - CASINO NIGHT MAY27,2008
What a night we had. We all met at the buffet dinner area and had dinner. The food was fantastic. We all walked out of there with too much to eat. Diane from the River Rock Casino met us there with some great promotional gifts for all of us. We then went to what ever game you wanted to play. I think most of us were soon at the slot machines. At one point there was a $20 dollar bill put into the slot machine and 3 women took turns at pressing the button to spin the roll. Course we eventually lost it all but it took awhile. Some of us doubled our money and some of us lost some but overall we had a great time. A lot of laughs and we all got to know each other a lot more. We then met for coffee at 9 o'clock and had some good stories. This will become an annual event I'm sure. |

There were 7 of us who were keen on trying our skills at golfing between the trees. There were a couple of birdies and many pars with more over pars. I saw one ball roll up a tree much to the surprise of the golfer. But there were many laughs and a good time was had by us all. Sorry you missed it. |

2008-04-10 - NOTICE TO ATTENDEES OF GAZEBO EVENTS
We will require your name and payment in advance for the following reasons listed below:
1) To know if there enough people to hold the event.
2) To advise catering of accurate food quanities and to keep the costs down.
3) To arrange seating for the event.
4) To be in accordance with liquor laws.
5) Unfortunately some people who register and request to pay at the door don't show up for the event.
For all of these reasons, we will no longer be able to accept reservations past the cut off date or receive payment at the door of an event. Please ensure that once you register, you mail your cheque to the Gazebo Mailbox:

2008-04-07 - GOLF TOURNAMENT AUGUST, 9TH, 2008
WE ARE FULL. 32 PLAYERS HAVE SIGNED UP. Our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Aug. 9th @ MYLORA GOLF COURSE on Sidaway in Richmond. We Tee off @ 1:00 PM. It will be limited to 32 players. The cost for the Tournament will be $57.00 for members and $67.00 for non-members. There will be give aways and prizes for every one who has registered. Prizes will be given out for Closet to the Pin, Longest Drive and Closet to the Line. There will be a Putting contest and a BBQ Dinner.
Don't forget to send your Cheques in to the Gazebo Address ASAP in order to hold your spot in the Tournament. |
